As you consider your restaurant web marketing plan, make sure your website is doing the heavy lifting.

While review sites and map listings may be a great way to attract new people to your establishment, your restaurant’s website is your best opportunity to provide the details that people want to see before choosing where to eat. From photos of the interior to menus and safety information, these details will help guests find the restaurant that’s just right.   • Reservations & Ordering. If your restaurant accepts reservations, providing an online option for reserving a table is a great option. Online ordering for curbside pickup or any other ordering options you have should be included.

  • Coupons and Offers. Coupon users visit restaurants almost 70 percent more than those who do not! Even a small discount or free item can be enough to sway these budget-minded visitors.

  • Restaurant Marketing. Remember that your website should serve as the hub of all your restaurant marketing activities. Be sure to include linked icons to your social media pages, text services and email marketing signups, and special event information.

A Few Extras

Once you have the basics down, it’s time to take your restaurant marketing to the next level by building out your website to include a few extras. One addition to consider is an About Us or History page that tells the story of your restaurant. These can be particularly moving for local establishments, family-run eateries, or anywhere with a compelling story.
